Hi All,

Can someone confirm for definite what the length of the front anti roll bar links should be, i bought Lemforder 34601 01 which are 298mm (centre of pin to centre of pin) as that's what parts places are saying they should be.

But i'm being told these are too long (they are fitted now so cant check against the old ones) even if someone could maybe measure what is on their car that would be much appreciated

Welcome to the Forum

You can check yourself by using www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box it will bring up your model then search front axel components. If you aren't aware realoem is an online BMW parts list as used by Main Dealers

For your year from memory you could be 640d or 640d LCI also your car could have steel or dynamic stabilizer set up (not sure if that makes a difference to the tie rod)

Thanks, yeah i actually came across this about 2 mins after i posted, and the part number only brings up the same size i already have, so not sure why im being told its too long
