Hi all,
During some fault diagnosing, I've come across a fault (009CC4) on the passenger mirror side (UK). It apparently has to do with some comms being disturbed. I've tried to clear the fault but it keeps returning. I'm wondering if the fix is to replace the glass or to somehow check if there is power at the connectors that plug into the glass. Not sure how to check if there is power going into the glass, so my first reaction would be just to replace the glass, but then again without knowing the cause it may not solve the problem. If anyone has come across the cause and fix for this then I'd appreciate some help please.
Thanks

Morning Aleem

Welcome to the Forum

I have seen this code before if my old brain is working right it is the glass heating element it's connections or wiring (2 white wires if I recall). So I am afraid you need to start by removing the mirror and checking all connections

I have seen one that needed a new mirror and one that had a broken wire at the door to body point

Good Luck

Dave
