Mute not working

I used to be able to mute the radio with a single press of the volume control beside the drive/reverse button. Now it’s not working. What might I have done to cause this or how can I get the function back.

    Welcome to the Forum

    Check your handbook and settings in the iDrive/infotainment system, check the media for any videos that may help with settings

    If all else fails try your dealer as your car is under Warranty if it isn't something you have done they should fix it
