Hi, Any suggestions on this pipe, after removing the air filter box I noticed an open-ended plastic pipe, what would be the purpose of this? surely have another pipe to it but can't find anything. I am wondering if the engine has an air leak. Thanks in advance.

Where does it come from ? If it comes from the scuttle area it could be part of the scuttle and roof drain system.

Have a look at www.realoem.com it may give some clues?

Thanks for your quick response it lives on near side of suspension strut this picture with air box back in it’s part of loom original taping etc very strange it has to have a porpoise?
