Hi, quick query if anyone has experienced this issue. Purchased an X3 S drive 20I brand new, delivered on the 18/3/2020.

All services conducted when required by dealer. Last service (major) was done on the 9/4/24. Approx 1 week later coolant leak was discovered. Vehicle towed to dealer, cause was cracked coolant pipe . Informed part would take 2 week delivery time ( ex Germany)  at cost of $800. Vehicle has just under 30,000 on clock. Any input greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the Forum

I am aware that the plastic return pipe (Header Tank to Rad) on the E53 became very brittle and was easily damaged. I replaced mine with 10mm Copper Tube after a long wait for replacement. But I was not aware, or haven't heard of X3 issues here in the UK

I guess that you will need more from US based owners

      Morning Darren Welcome to the Forum I take it your previous phone was iphone which it seemed worked OK ? If so as nothing else but the phone has changed this is more a question for Apple than BMW Make sure all previous registrations are cleared on the car then re-register your phone if that doesn't work ask one of the Apple Forums Sorry best I can think of for an Old Android Bloke Dave

      I’ve recently change to iphone 17 with iOS 26, since changing, every time I use the voice activation button on the steering wheel to make a call or send a message, it seems to call MY Number. Any help or support or fix would be much appreciated

      2019 X1 stereo system upgrade

      Hi Rick If you look at www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin into the search box it will bring up your Model Then search the Audio section you will find small exploded drawings showing where speakers are for each system. Get the part numbers for the HK stuff then search the internet for the best prices and supply. You could get all the HK stuff and AMP and swap them yourself make sure the under seat speakers are there and working then add a sub if you need it May not be as costly as you think Dave

      Thank you for your help. The car has a big standard speaker setup. It isn’t good. The HK system normally has badges and identifiers but the car has no such markings. im going to fit a sub in the cavity in the boot, some decent mid range in the doors then some tweeters in the door pillars. The job now is to find someone who can do the job properly and not charge a fortune

      Morning Rick Harman Kardon were the top of the OEM line so a starting point is use a Vin Decoder to check what was fitted at build S676A is Hifi S674A is Harman Kardon Next check that all speakers are working including the central base speakers under the front seats. It isn't unusual for door speakers to fail particularly if there has been water ingress. If everything is working but is standard Hifi an upgrade to HK components may give what you want (Speakers Amp etc) If it is already HK then your in the hands of the aftermarket Audio specialists Hope this Helps Dave
