Good morning forum, i am glad to say that i am finally back in the BMW ranks. Recently i bought a BMW 5 Gran Turismo, 2011 and i have a few questions, if that is okay.

Bluetooth - The car has buttons on the steering wheel for a phone, has a Telephone button, but doesn't have bluetooth. Am i missing something? Also, if it doesn't have BT for real (I still think i just can't sort it it out) what would the best BT adapters be?

Angel Eyes - My car doesn't have Xenon, but it has the angel eyes installed. When i bought it and came back home i realised two of the halos were out (Right side/Driver side). Any idea about what the bulbs are? Any bulbs that can upgrade the brightness? Currently you barely see them in daylight.

Bluetooth: First check www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your Vin  into the search box and it will bring up your model. Then search the sections for which Telematics unit is in your car and note the part number and where it is in the car. Then take a look if it's missing it answers a lot of your questions (why it was taken out who knows) Then search with the part number to find a replacement fitting is plug and play. Then in settings on the screen you should find bluetooth set it to search and the phone should be found then connect.

P.S. Just a thought if someone has changed the screen you should be able to find the correct one or even a Complete Android update straight forward to fit and gives far more than the OEM unit plus still allowing you to switch between the two with the rotary controller
