Hi folk, Couldn't see a forum for engines. In the middle of doing bits to the engine, Cleaned intake, Egr delete, New gaskets on oil filter housing. I  also had a leek on the left side, It was dripping down back of engine, I dont know if it was coming,  from the breather which it was or the rocker cover, So i was going to change the gasket anyway. The problem i have got is i cant see  a way to remove the injectors. All the videos ive watched i cant see the injectors. ive been at it all day cant see how. I dont want to damage them. here's a couple of pic of them. Ive already took bolts out, if i cant remove them i dont want to reuse the gasket.

There are seals on the injectors that really do get hard with age penetrating fluid works over time. Lots of twisting with the right spanner generally works. Injectors and Glow plugs are one of those lobs that you either think "what's the fuss" or "I wish I hadn't started this"

Patience is the key, question why are you taking them out ? Do you have a fuelling problem ?

Hi, To replace cam cover gasket.

Morning Stuart

Life isn't that kind I am afraid, as far as I am aware the injectors need to be removed (label them as they are coded to that position in the engine) normally twisting them back and forwards while gently pulling up does the trick. Check youtube for video help.

From memory the Cam cover gasket set comes with new injector seals as well. From your pictures everything looks clean so either you have done a good job of cleaning as you go, or the engine is in pretty good nick.
