Hello, my daughters borrowed my 2016 m235i and a few hours later said it wouldn't start. I towed it home and there are 3 errors on the console Fuel system malfunction, Chassis stabilization, Drivetrain malfunction. Seems strange to have no issues then have 3 all at once. I did change the battery and registered it since it was old. I have protools but just started using it so if anyone has advice on where to start I'd appreciate it.

 

Also do i have to go under the car to put it in neutral in case i need to get it towed to the shop? thanks!

First how did you tow it home? As you now ask if you have to go under the car to put it in Neutral? 

 The first point would be the Battery check all terminals are connected correctly then the Fuel System fuses and relay at least to get the car running. Never used Protools as a diagnostic but plug it into the OBD port and run a scan, note what faults are logged. Then clear the faults, ignition off wait a few minutes then ignition on and re-scan to see if any faults are still there. If faults are logged they need further inspection.
