I have an automatic and when it changes gear it over revs. Does anyone have any ideas of what this could be or has had this issue.

It could be low fluid level in the box, it could be just simple wear and tear (they should be serviced every 50 to 80k) it could ne a torque converter fault? 

You need th ecodes read by either a BMW or Gearbox specialist to know

Thanks Dave, I had the fluid changed but didn’t make any difference. I’ll have to get it book in to get it sorted. Thanks for the advice.
