Hi everyone,
I’ve just purchased a 2018 (March) X3 2.0d MSport. I have connected CarPlay to my iPhone.
When I put on the DAB radio after a couple of minutes it switches off followed by 2 bing bing alerts.
When I checked the Mode Button I found that it had selected CarPlay. So I selected DAB again and put on the radio and the same happened time after time. I have now made CarPlay inactive on my iPhone and the radio stays on. It’s a drag though that if I want to use CarPlay I have to mess about with the phone.
Can anyone help please?

    Welcome to the Forum

    First thought is how consistent is your DAB signal? If the DAB drops out it may revert to the last settings, perhaps?

    Not some thing I have come across before and have to confess at my age Radio 2 is as complicated as it gets. Having said that I also like everything to work as it should my E70 has an after market Android Headunit married to the onboard system the Phone Link I still haven't mastered but I will?

    Hope some clever young thing can help

    My DAB signal is OK as far as I know so I think it’s a problem with CarPlay as it’s working fine now I’ve disabled it on my iPhone.
