Hi how difficult is it to upgrade the brakes on my 118i M sport to those off an M135i 2021 model. What is involved and is it worth it?

I am not sure but if you already have M-sport brakes they are the same size check www.realoem.com put the last 7 digits of your VIN into the search box it will call up your model then check the brake section for sizes and part numbers, then repeat for the M135i

Thanks Dave, the more I research I do the more it looks a lot more than just bolting on bigger calipers and discs. Thanks for the link though very helpful.

Looking at Realoem you have 360mm discs already the M135i  uses the same size discs? Unless your 118i does not have Msport brakes?

There are big brake kits out there but check carefully that your wheels will clear the calliper's before fitting them

Hi Dave, my M sport 1 series 118i didn't have the pro sport package, so guessing mine are the 307mm discs. Guess I'll have to take a wheel off to measure. Cheers Mal
