Can anyone tell me if I can upgrade my daughters system so she can listen to her Music from her phone through the car speakers. She has telephone Bluetooth but not audio. Below is a pic of her Combox which I believe is where it all comes from. Can she upgrade this to allow Music if so can someone point me in the correct direction for the one I would need please.

Hi Gary

Check in the settings if A2DP is enabled if I recall correctly there were a few discussions like this and there should be some good "how too" Video's on YouTube

Dave

How do I check if the A2DP is enabled

First check your daughter's phone in Bluetooth - connected devices - then see if Music streaming is on (with my phone it has both Headset and Music setting) both need to be enabled for the phone to send Music.

Her car has a combox so A2DP should be available, try looking at the settings for Bluetooth to see if there is a check box that needs ticking. If not in Bluetooth look at Aux settings or possibly Music. As I suggest an internet search for a Video should help or just work through the settings BMW are not logical in the way things are linked.

My old E53 4.6is needs a wired solution with an Aux lead in the glove box my E70 has an upgraded Android head unit so just works through Bluetooth. My brother inlaws 540 xDrive Touring had no problem with his iPhone or his wife's Samsung
