I Just Ordered a M240i RWD - Am I the only crazy person?

According to my dealership I am the first person to decline the xDrive and order the first RWD. Am I the only person that would rather have the less safe and slower version?

    You may be the first person to order rear wheel drive from "them", but there a 2 others not far from me that I am aware of. I am also unsure about the "less safe" bit I had to try really hard to unstick my AMG 63 CLS with a bit more grunt than the 240.

    So maybe the Dealer was on better commission for the Xdrive version 😁

    So drive it and ENJOY it lucky boy

    I'm talking about the 2023 M240I, not older models.  I live in Seattle, roads are wet, so less traction = less safe. The 2023 lists 382hp, yet in reality it is over 400 in the US. They de-tune in other countries to comply with regulations. Also, the xDrive has gotten so much better that dealerships don't order RWD versions.  I had to special order it.

    In the UK and Europe there are no regs on power the AMG cls was 602 (570 at the wheels) on a dead straight motorway at 70 I could smoke the rear tyres. We get rain here to don't know if we rival Seattle but it rains and snows.

    Just make sure you have good all weather tyres, you have a great car with lots of airbags so I am sure you survive 🤣 After a few weeks you will have the reactions of a cat

    Enjoy it and lock your licence in a safe place 😈
