Hi all,

i have proudly owned and meticulously maintained a E90 N54 335i 2007 saloon 4 door for just over 3 years, I will be going more economical and newer, so wondering if this car is desirable, I can only assume that judging by the same cars for sale being a rarity, that mine might be something rare someone might want, just trying to get a feel for how much to ask for her, I won’t be selling yet, and wether I might struggle to sell her

Morning Steven

Like all things in life the old saying "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder" have you checked the web sites like "How Many Left"

As an example my own X5 4.6is only 850 odd were ever sold in the UK at the end of 2021 there were 216 left registered for the road. Has it's rarity affected it's price ? from what I see not much.

So a mint 335i if you can find the right buyer will command a premium, the trick will be finding the right buyer.

Good Luck with the sale may be talk to some of the specialist Auction Sites

Hi Dave, thank you for your time, I love the car to bits, apart from a crank sensor, she’s never let me down, so I’m reluctant to sell it, I only do 40 miles a week at the weekends, it’s just the tax that’s a rip off !! Cheers

Steve

With that low mileage it may be worth only taxing it for the summer months (providing you have somewhere to keep it safe and polished

Thinking ahead our leaders are pushing us pell mell towards an all EV future offering support and no Road Fund licence. (yet)

However didn't they push Diesel hard with low Road fund licences? Currently there are around 35m vehicles registered in the UK multiplied by an average of say £300 road fund is a HUGE amount of money and doesn't include Fuel duties. The future isn't that rosy for the EV brigade when the Chancellor is looking to replenish his coffers

When our fossil fuel beasts are in the minority here their value and desirability will grow I am sure

Yeah you have a point, maybe not sell and cover it up, I made the mistake with 4 ford capris, an escort mk2, 3 sierras and a cortina mk2, if I’d have kept them and sold now I’d be richer than Elon Musk lol, maybe in a few years she’ll be worth a bomb :-)
