I bought a foxwell 510 Elite and wish I bought the next or a couple models up. A guy at work will pay me $50 less than I paid for it but I want to delete my car's history. Is there any way to remove my car's history from the scanner?

I am not familiar with the Foxwell scanners though I know of several people who use them. 

Does the Handbook give any help ? Thinking of history again what size memory does the Foxwell have ? I thought it would over write at each read, could be wrong though

Hi Dave,

No, the manual doesn't say how to clear the history. I think the scanner will hold history for multiple vehicles by the looks of the display screen. The memory card is 8GB.

Can you access the card by connecting to a PC perhaps how are the diagnostics updated (clutching at straws)

Do Foxwell have an online help or technical service?

Hi Dave,

Yes, I did try that, but didn't see anything that was related to history. Lots of files and without knowing which one I'd just end up deleting something needed for diagnosis.
