Battery location in a 2014 320d estate.

Hello everyone,

My son has recently bought a 320D estate 2014 and cannot find where the battery is located. It is not in the boots two cubby holes in the floor or at the rear quarter sides. Any information gratefully received and also Merry Christmas to everyone.

    It is under the floor on the right hand side at the rear there are several panels and trays to come out before you get to the battery I have done this on a 4 series and believe the 3 series is the same.

    You will need a trim removal tool and a 10mm socket and patience. If he is trying to check the battery it can be done from the charging points under the bonnet, if he is just trying to charge it that is where to do it as the name suggests.
