Quicker 0-60
Hi Richard Welcome to the Forum With normally aspirated engines an ECU tune will not give huge power gains from what I have read your 2.5i will be around 180/190hp stock a good ECU tune should see 215/220hp First google ECU tuners in your area and talk to a few see what they think outside that it is conventional tuning Headwork, injectors, Throttle body, exhaust, inlet etc a friend of one of our sons built a 1 series Drift car 2.5i based had around 350hp when he finished I guess it's the Carol Shelby question, Speed cost money young man how fast can you afford to go 🤣 Enjoy your Beemer Dave -

Breaking Complete 320D 08 reg
I drive a 2008 320D touring and have a similar car which I am breaking for spares. Most parts now removed and available but shell with V5 also available. Shell still has most of the engine, 6 speed gearbox, rear axle, windscreen and dashboard still fitted. Please let me know if you are interested in anything. -

Hi guys, driving around in my late dad's 2004 x3, loving it, not getting rid, realise it's got too much emotional memories. Wanting to make it quicker up to 60ish. Don't do too many miles and it's a 2.5i -

1.9 wide body?
Good morning! My widebodied Z3 is on a W plate (Feb 2000) and it has the 2.0 straight 6 cylinder engine. As far as I know the 4 cylinder was fitted to some of the widebody models (I saw one in a garage recently) but not sure why you would want to go with the 4 cylinder over the 6 cylinder as they are worlds apart and the 6 cylinder will go on forever with makes for a much more exciting drive. Plenty of Z3's on the market at the moment and they are certainly increasing in value so pick one up soon before the prices get out of hand. I would recommend you look very thoroughly at the metalwork as rust is an issue with some, but by the time the widebody Z3 came in, they seem to have sorted a lot of issues. 1.9 wide body?
Morning Phil First thought "is it a genuine wide body or an aftermarket kit that's been fitted" I would check one of the Vin Decoder websites using the Vin number to see what the original build sheet tells you. As it may be a rare customer special order One of our Z car owners may have more thoughts Dave- 2
