Hi guys I’m new here. I have owned a E46 330i clubsport. In blue manual. It’s been off the road but finally getting it sorted. I’m looking to find a timing kit for it, as not a lot of garages have the tools to do it. Any advice on best kits

    Are you changing the timing chain and chain guides or have you had the head off?

    My neighbour brought a kit from Ebay cost around £60 when we rebuilt his 530d GT different engine but still needs Vanos and cams held in the correct positions. My V8 the BMW Specialist had the kit (it was a warranty job thank goodness) Vanos were checked and timed electrically.
