67 reg X1 and Spotify

Hi,

New to forum, bought a 67 reg X1 18.SDrive and love it.  Been using Apple music on my iPhone 8 plus and can browse through playlists etc using I drive perfectly, but found that the car can do Spotify fully.

Downloaded Spotify but I've noticed when connected, rather than being able to scroll through playlists etc, all I get is precious track, current track and next track, is this how it is our am I missing something?

Appreciate any info.

    My X5 is real old tech so I my Ipod is connected through the Aux input by a wire!! However if you can download the Spotify App it doesn't make sense it is restricted, unless the car download is somehow a short version not the full app? I would delete and try again have you tried asking Spotify/Apple if they know why they may have a work around.
