Evening all, 

Just wondering if anyone has the CRTD4 TWIN CHANNEL DIESEL TUNING BOX fitted, and if so what there thoughts? whats the impact to fuel economy?

Claims to give +60bhp & 65lb/ft! Just seems a bit to go to be true for a plug & play device.

Hi Warren.....welcome to the Forum

I have previously owned a Tuning Box (on a Honda CRV 2.2 cdti) and unfortunately sold it when I sold the car. It takes about 10 -15 minutes to fit yourself.

However, in the time that I have it fitted, it vastly improved the driveability of the car, made it more flexible on the transmission (didn't need to change up constantly to maintain road speed), the economy improved by at least 15% and quite frankly cried when I took it off....what a difference it made!

I fitted it with the intention of improving the economy and this is exactly what it did....I didn't however, buy it with a huge performance increase in mind.

I would say, go for it, you won't regret it !

      Steering wheel replacement

      Morning Connah Welcome to the Forum Not sure what you are trying to achieve here ? If your OEM steering wheel has paddle shifts it should be fairly straight forward swap even though the replacement will probably be Aftermarket. Just make sure you can get support from the seller and they accept returns if it didn't fit If you don't have paddle shifts there is the small issue of how you can get the shift to work, it will involve loom extensions and programming at least. If you just want the competition look and are not worried about the operation then it becomes easier Good Luck Dave

      F30 A-pillar install

      Morning Shawn Other than checking www.realoem.com and the Internet for help, it's not a job I have done but that would be my starting point. Perseverance, patience and practice may help as well 😅 plastic clips are easy to break if they are not spot on with alignment. I buy spares before starting any job that involves taking trim off, try trial fitting the clips off the car gives an idea of alignment and pressure needed I have used a little Washing up liquid as lubricant Good Luck Dave

      F30 A-pillar install

      I removed the driver’s side a-pillar in my 2013 320i to make sure the sunroof drainage tubes weren’t leaking behind them. As easy as they are to get off, what a pain to put back on. I ordered new plastic retainers because both broke. Does anyone have any pointers for getting it back on? I fought with it for an hour with no luck whatsoever.
