The X5 is a nice car, particularly with the 4.6 - nice to see you going for the "proper one" and not just the run of the mill diesel :yes:

    i love the M styling on them and the M5 style dash, aswell as the 347bhp v8! 😂

     

    I just hear alot of horror storis of the engine chain rattling or the vanos going etc...

    just wondered if there is any cheaper way of preventing these issues as they tend to wreck engine!

    As with many thinks it's often luck of the draw unfortunately. Just make sure you find a well cared for example with good history and you shouldn't go too far wrong!
