Hi All,

Sorry if this has been covered 100's of times, I couldn't find the correct thread....my apologies in advance but any advice would be great

I have a 2008 BMW 320i

Runs perfect, good milage, runs fine on the motorway, no issues until the CEL came on....

1. Solid Yellow

2. felt a slight loss of power

3. next day, light was off and car again ran perfectly

4. went on the motorway got to 81mph and the light came on

5. got the codes read 2af9,2af4,2af2,2af6,30da,29d0

6. told me its the NOX sensor and required new coils and plugs to be safe, i know its costly £580 + vat

7. the codes were reset and i've been ragging it as advised by guy at garge to maybe clean it

8. I have redlined it allot!!! and no light and runs perfect, I have ordered some catclean too just because he advised it will help too.

Has anyone had issues like this were it was reset and then the light didn't come back on?

thank you in advance :)

It's difficult to say. I would run it for a bit and see if the code comes back. If it does then I'd probably look at getting all the bits from the error codes fixed...
