Hi. New to this site Wondering if anyone can tell me how to and what tools are needed to adjust the handbrake in my x3 2006. It's gone really slack Cheers

    You get to the adjusters through one of the bolt holes in the wheel, then use a small flat screwdriver to turn the wheel on the adjuster.

    If you do a search on the internet videos will most likely be available

    Oh and I'm thinking the handbrake should be off whilst you do this. Is this correct. I'm new to this so excuse my lack of knowledge. Cheers

    Handbrake off, wheel off.

    Then just rotate the disc after each click of the adjuster
