Hi, its my first BMW and I try to make it on the way I would feel more comfy in there, so I do have some questions what and how. The car is BMW 525i SE Touring plate 57 (18/10/2007).

1. I can't find how to fold my side mirrors. I did check in the net and found, that near to the botton you chose which mirror to control is another one, which will fold them down. Well I haven't got it and was wondering is there any other way of doing it as I can't believe for car with those specs and extras, such a thing will be missing.

2. As my car is estate I wouldn't have a bice audio with bass and etc. Is there a way I can connect subwoofer to it and if someone has link to see how to get accessto wires as I couldn't gind anything about that.

3. The car hasn't got a bluetooth. Any idea what can I use to connect my phone trough the car audio via bluetooh, but not Parrot please as I don't like them. Would like something that will connect the phone with car stereo and comouter probably or something?

Anyway that's what I'm trying to sort out at the moment and couldn't find anything helpful, so decided to try here.

Thank you in advance.

And one more thing is, I would like to install a performancce chip on the car, as I read it will increase KW, NM and will low down fuel consumpion. My problem is, I want to puy something with good quality to be safe for the car and to go into ODB plug as I'm not car mechanic to install something complicated. Any idea for something with a good quality, which does the job and won't harm the car?

Try looking on www.Realoem.com put in the last 7 digits of your vin number and it will bring up the build for your car and what accessories you can get

Once you have the part numbers you can look at many sources from BMW £££££ to Ebay

you could talk to Jason at Chiptune in Uxbridge about engine upgrades he is experienced with Beemers and well recommended on other sites

And still guys, can anyone help with bluetooth please, I do need a bluetooth, but can't find anything about how to retro fit one. My other car is Mercedes and everything is so easy there plenty of info I web as well asking in the forum about anything, will get an answer like you are asking the engineer who build it and here everything looks a bit... I did saw a lot of quetions unanswered and I do wonder am I in the right forum or just there is no info for BMW other than main dealer who will skin you down. I'm start feeling I did a mistake buying a BMW.

No one can help you without information???

Does your car have navigation or a basic business radio??? Most cars are prewired for Bluetooth as I said earlier if you look for the part numbers and buy the correct parts it is then plug and play.

If these things are important to you why buy a car without them?
