Please help! Bought a z3 wind deflector off of a 1998 model z3. I have a 2000 and cannot get it to fit. Is there a model upgrade or am I fitting it wrong ???

I, too, have a 2000 and have just installed a cockpit wind blocker. You didn't mention whether your item is OEM or aftermarket. And I'm assuming by "wind deflector", you're not meaning a coupe/sunroof application. Regardless, there are several styles of both OEM and aftermarket items for Z3 Roadsters with and without roll hoops. Mine is an aftermarket item made of Lexan and held onto the roll hoops via Velcro straps. Installation is intuitive but pix available on Ebay help a lot. Ditto OEM examples, I should think, if you can find same on the 'net. Ebay, again? Can you supply pix of your sample? ---Best
