A Newbie With A 435I Auto Stop Start Issue

Hi, recently (3 weeks ago) bought a 2016 435i M Sport convertibble and have found that the auto stop/start function cuts out phone calls, radio & media when on the "stopping" function; my voice commands, i.e. handsfree phone calls, has stopped working in the last week.................anybody else had similar issues with such a new car? Short term solution has been to disable the stop/start function everytime I make a trip, however that isn't a long term fix........she is booked into the BMW garage in a week's time, but interested to know ahead of that if others experienced similar issues.
