Hi all ,I have a probing with my hood going down on my z4 2005 ,you press the button to go down it

starts working then it stops can any one help me ,the bmw garage have said it could cost 1,500 pounds to fix's it ,I live in Teesside is they a bmw mechanic in my area . :)

    Sounds like a common problem and unfortunately no easy fix. The location of the motor that draws the hood back is very well sealed. Unfortunately this means that water cant drain and as a result fills the motor and burns it out. From what I have read it means the hood has to come off to replace it.
