Please help a bloke get his blood pressure back to normal.......

Can anyone tell me how to cancel the navigation once you've told it to go to a destination ??

For example....I've got the FM radio on...then go to NAVIGATION and set a destination....half way to that destination I was to CANCEL / STOP the Navigation....its seems impossible....even after turning the engine on and back on again.....its still !Removed! well there giving me directions I can never stop it ....aaargh !

Also, can you turn off the Keyless entry/start funtion.?..this seems like a carjackers dream...if you leave the keys in your jacket / handbag anywhere in the car say when you stop for petrol or stop anywhere then someone just has to get in the car and press the START button and off they go....

Also again, how do you get rid of the ASSIST part of the screen on the right hand side and get a full screen without it ?

    While on the Nav screen push the menu knob to the left, screen should change and there'll be a down-arrow with a dot (I think), select that and "Cancel" and "Resume/Continue" should be available...
