Hi everyone,

I'm after some advice on my 2014 X5, I've had 22" breyton wheels fitted to the car, and every time I start the car the warning sound alerts me with the fault showing on the in board screen. When the wheels were fitted, the company swapped the valve sensors from the old ones and installed them on the new wheels. I've spoken to my dealer and they checked it out and said the car doesn't recognise 22" wheels and there's nothing they can do. The funny thing is the car had the 22"s on for 1000 miles before this problem started. I'll be happy for any advice and find out if anyone else had this problem with 22"s fitted. Thanks

Did they reset the module?

Hi I don't think they're reset anything, I've tried to reset on the on board computer but it's not having it!

The thing is.... The wheels would've been changed while your keys were in your pocket, you start the car afterwards and the comp discovers different pressures all of a sudden !! This is why resetting is important

The car and keys were left with the garage, and first 1000 miles was fine and never caused a problem. It started after that so I'll ask my dealer to reset it and try that. Thanks for the advice

Hmmm, if she were mine I'd delete the bloody thing !!

I asked about deleting or disarming but there answer was no. I'm going to the dealer tomorrow to sort another problem out and try and get them to reset the RDC. I'll let you know how I get on
