I am looking to buy a used BMW as I would like to 'upgrade' to a 5 series. I brought my current 3 series from a private seller but I know this can be risky so this time I think I would like to try a dealership or car supermarket. Are there any good ones you could recommend based on past experiences (I live in Cambridgeshire).

    Welcome Jaden. I'm not sure buying privately is any more risky than buying from a dealer. A main dealer may be ok but you will pay a lot extra.

    I would suggest CarWorld if you intend on using a car supermarket, this is where I got my 5 series and I couldn't be happier with it, the staff are really helpful and the car itself came in great condition. They have finance options too so I'm sure you wouldn't have any trouble finding the right car for you. Here's the link to their website, I hope you find the car that's right for you.
