High Pitched Squeal

I have an intermittent high pitched squeal coming from my 2004 z4. Although the age is now 10 years. The car has a genuine 12,000 miles only. Could this noise be a wheel bearing ????

    Could you give us some more details, such as when it happens? Does it sound like it is coming from a corner of the car? Which corner?

    Is it a constant noise or does it appear linked to speed or engine revs etc?

    New to all of this. So excuse errors etc. as I say the squeal is very intermittent and does not appear to come when cornering either one way or the other, nor does it appear to be speed related in anyway.

    I should have added that the car gas spent most of its life in store age and therefore I am not sure if it has been serviced. Are there any documentation that can be obtained for greasing points etc?

    Hi Colin, welcome to the club. Don't let your 'wife, GF or partner' sit in the car, that may ease your squealing issue!!!

    Have you considered the fan belt? It may be loose/worn etc.
