Tyre Wear Xdrive

Recommended Posts

On a standard rwd BMW driven normally ie not sideways, the front tyres last much longer as they are not slipping / spinning and the rears go much quicker, let's say the fronts last ten times longer.

Now take an x drive with 60/40 default split of power, do the fronts wear 4 times faster than rwd but you compensate by less wear on the rears or is that school boy logic.
