Hi All...

New member checking in!!

Just purchased a used BMW 1 series, 120D M Sport (60 plate). My 8th car in 5 years but hopefully this one is a keeper. It's certainly more exciting to drive than anything else I've owned and I'm certainly more happy and excited about this purchase than any other!

It's my first experience of owning a BMW, purchased this as it looks modern (although the shape is not to everybody's taste, I personally love it) and it's very nice to drive!.

Why the 120D. Same reason anybody else wants a 120 as opposed to the more fuel efficient 118 I suppose, the extra BHP and speed so the car doesn't feel sluggish low revs.

Needless to say, I'm a happy owner so far but who knows what the future holds. Apart from the odd "Timing Chain" issue on other forums, reliability doesn't seem to be an issue to fingers crossed all works out.

Looking forward to getting to know you all and the site!
