Hello I am Tom and I live in Leicestershire in the UK.

I have a Melbourne Red M235i on order from Stratstone Derby, which should be here in Mid June and looking forward to owning my 1st BMW :)

In the mean time I am driving a Peugeot RCZ 156 GT (I know quite a jump), which of course will be part-exchanging to make way for the 2 series.

Expecting good things from when I get my hands on my car I have grown up with BMW's since I was a kid (Still remember my dads 1st BMW a E39 M5 in Silverstone Blue) and my experience with the dealers have been great so far.

looking forward to getting to know you all and fingers crossed at car meets :)

Congrats on your order. The waiting is the hardest part. I had to wait 3 months to get my M135 which i got last month but it has been well worth the wait !!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is also my first new BMW and I have to say the customer service has been superb.

Glad to hear it will be weird getting a superb customer service my car companies I have been with have not been the greatest on that department (definitely not bad however)

Yeah I am really excited about it, the last time I was this excited about getting a new car it was the very first car I owned :)

Hi Claire, yeah I won't lie I have struggled on the getting to sleep thanks to being so excited and constantly checking my phone for any news haha

I would have a calender and be crossing off the day ...lol

well my 2 series has just been confirmed by production control (means everything is now confirmed for production) not sure if that will mean I will be get it earlier than I was going to originally, but I will find out tomorrow once my salesman gets back to me with a rough date etc :)

I believe that means they are now building it :)

definitely ahead of schedule was going to be towards the end of the June not the start.
