2004 E46 320D - Sighing Noise?

Hi all

I've getting a sighing noise from the car as I come off the throttle (I know it's a diesel so doesn't have one!) and I'm a bit puzzled by it. It sounds like a release of pressure so I'm thinking possibly turbo related?

It's done 138k miles, the vast majority on motorways, and is still pulling strong. There's no sign of any smoke and the turbo itself sounds like it always has.

Any thoughts?

Could be a waste-gate release or leak in hose(s)... HTH ;)
