Hi I have a 51 plate 728i with sat nav ect and six disc multi changer in the boot,the CDs keep skipping and jumping and the radio keeps changing stations all the time, no matter how times i press the buttons it keeps messing about, has any body any clues on how to fix this problem or is it a case of replacing head unit and multi changer, any help would be very much appreciated.

Simple dampness in the boot area :)

Worst case scenario is Head unit but doubt that ;)

The E38 boot level/angle gives it the only common fault that no other car has... Drainage !! (unless its parked face-uphill lol)

Thanks for your reply, i will take a look in the boot in the morning and see if its damp in there, its driving me around the twist not being able to listen to any music whilst driving, if I can't sort it I might have to put a normal stereo in the car
