Hello Im am finally restoring my z3. Hope you guys can help with any problems I may have with it.

First thing is the up down motor on the electric seats..... Can they be fixed or replaced???

Second thing where the fluff can I get one back light for a face life model z3? I have scoured the net but have had no luck, just the white and red ones.

Is any one selling one of these????

the electric seat is normally the switch not operating in all areas. if you can hear it work in the up/down direction but the seat don't move then its your seat mechanism where it connects to the seat motor.

not sure about your back light, a difficult part to get 2nd hand but will look out for you from my neck of woods'

Cheers, that would be great. I have looked everywhere for one. The switch does the back and forward motion but the updown motion just makes a clunk noise like its stuck. I'll take it apart I think and see what's going on!

if its making a clunk I would assume the switch is operating in the correct manner. the problem lies in the seat mechanism & motor.

open & have a look, you never know, a pence coin somehow could be stuck in there :wacko:
