Hi, does anyone have any experience of trickle chargers. I want to get one for my e36 but there seems to be a huge choice with a huge price range.

My car is a weekend toy and as such rarely gets used over winter. I put a new battery on it last year but had to jump start it today.

If anyone has any recommendations let me know :-)

    If its a new battery then remove it when not in use, it will hold for a month... I know its an arseache but any charger would help it start ;)

    My Dad has a CTEK as he doesn't use his car that much. Seems to the job keeping his car topped up. They have have a kind of 'quick connector' so you can leave the terminals bolted onto your battery and just plug it in or detach it really quickly when you want to use it. I'd buy one if I had the need! :)
