Nothing sarcastic intended there matey... Just me trying to be a bloody comedian again !!

Just take 'em for a run, making sure the engine is cold beforehand, this gives you an idea of the cars' attitude whilst coming up to temp ;)

Listen very carefully as you drive along, noticing any knocks or vibrations, wandering etc.

Thoroughly check the Service History and make sure you ask questions, you'll be more satisfied (and probably suspect) finding discrepancies ;)
