Hi, recently bought a 316 compact and i have now noticed the passenger headlight check light on the dash is on? When i turned on the side light and looked at it, the indicator was on permanently but goes of when i put the headlights on. Anybody have any ideas what is causing this, or more importantly, how much it will cost?

    Had this on my E38 a year or so back... Turned out to be poor connections at the front AND a poor battery !

    "Sometimes" its the Stalk or Ignition barrel that causes it, but extremely rare on a BMW ;)
