Just wondering how easy it is to remove the M badges from the car and do you guys think it would look better without the 525i badge?

Both the "M" badge and the 525i both come off pretty easily

I would advise using an old credit card to slide underneigh them and a solvent like "StickyStuffRemover". It being a nice new(ish) car, you shouldn't be left with a nasty outline like I did with my E28. Even if you do, bit of cutting compound/T-cut works a treat.

Up to you really. Having a 525i is quite nice and is a badge to be proud of if you ask me...

Daz

Cheers Daz, think i'll leave the 525i badge alone.

I'm not a fan of M badges unless it has a 3 or a 5 after it.

I do like the German-flag M badges though. Like the one I have on mine (Below). Dunno, find them quite fruity

Yes the German flag colour M bages look good, seen them for a fiver on Ebay.

Don't get the cheap ones... The colour fades and the rest just "pits" after a short while :o

Debadge FTW !

23453454% agree. I paid like 7quid a badge and you can barely see the german flag anymore, it's just white.

They are coming off as soon as the car hits the road again

Mine is completely de-badged. It's great when you pull up next to someone that thinks they have a chance!

They don't know it's a 300bhp monster lol.

I need to change all the BMW badges on my car, the front/back and wheels. Need to get some "Sticky stuff remover" first though....and some new black badges.

How about bobbing a "1.0 Micra" badge on the boot-lid ?? :o
