As a new member I appologise in advance if this topic has been covered recently.

I have just inherited an 87 635 csi with Michelin trx 220/55/vr390 rubber.

I need to replace the two front tyres.

Will the Dunlop 230/55/vr390 tyres fit the original rims and are these tyres any good?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Yes, its only one centimetre difference across the tread-pattern... As for Dunlop, not certain !

    Why not change like-for-like ?
