  2. Just found this and thought it would answer some of your questions. Not sure if I'm allowed to do this and apologies if I'm not, copied it from another forum where the chaps selling the pipe.   4. I bought the car done and used a trust worth friend of mine, who specialises in high performance cars. He's based in Coventry. I just told him the car I earned, age and colour. Once he got one I let him do his thing to it, one of which was the re map. I just made sure it wasn't generic and wasn't pushing the car to the limits. It's now tastefully quick without loosing the prestige it deserves.
  5. Morning, As it was Wednesday, yesterday I attend the old VAG meet to find over 200 cars at a new location with a huge selection of German Cars. They ranged from VW through to BM and Mercs and the old American muscle to add a little sour taste lol. The meets well organised and doesn't have the usual Chavs sitting in the corner smoking weed and dropping litter from mc Donald's. As its put on in gated car park area and the organisers only allow the enthusiasts in, which creates a fantastic atmosphere. If anyone's interested in popping down and having a look and meeting a few other enthusiasts and showing off you BM come down!
  6. Hello buddy. Only being new to the BM scene and diesel scene to, I've searched this subject on a number of forums. From what I understand the best practice is to find a company that removes the DPF internals rather than add a pipe as the MOT stations have been told to visually inspect the DPF to make surfeit has one. Obviously adding the new pipe will fail the MOT. Your find numerous mixed reviews on this subject, where many will argue that it's there for a reason! I'm not a mechanic and or a engineer to discuss the aspects of why its there and the complete purpose but I do understand why it's there and what it does. Perhaps do the same as I did first and just research a few other forums. Apparently it doesn't make any difference to the remap!? My 330d is remapped and still has the DPF and goes like stink. So something to consider. Sorry if I'm informing you of info you already know.
  7. I'm after a tasteful after market spoiler for my E90. Is or has anyone got any good suggestions on reliable companies that supply them. I'd prefer similar to the M3 one, which is a slight lip rather than a chunky one. I've looked on EBay and like the F30 rear spoilers can hey be fitted to the E90?
  8. I appreciate this is a slightly old topic, and I'm new to the forum but I have a large car park in Coventry that I can make available. It's used by a local scooby club so there is ample space to have a large number of cars on the site, they already have a catering wagon which can be made available and a valeting company who offer discount on cleaning and valeting if wanted. Either way its available and I'd be happy to sort it.
  9. Just a quick introduction. I'm new to the BMW world having just purchased my first. I decided to go the full hog, but also economical so went for the E90 330d m sport. Having spent numerous years with the VAG group and the Jap market. So bare with me if I start asking simple questions, just remember I'm new. Just a preview of my new toy!
