  1. How do! On the 20th of September the Three Sisters Racetrack in Wigan are having a track day. Would be nice to see some beemohs representing. Good honest little track. £20 for 10 laps. 3rd set of laps is half price i think. All you need is V5 and MOT certificate as per usual. Helmets are rentable. Usually after a couple of sets of laps they bring out drifters. But that may have been a 1 off. Its usually a good fun day. Entree fee is a about 5er per person maybe cheaper. Ill be there if anyone else is up for it. Liam

  3. So, as the title has hooked you in ill give you the details, Hello, im Liam, im 26 and live in Manc. Now about a year ago i used this site to try and look for an e36 coupe. Needless to say i didnt get very far but good ol Autotrader saved the day. I found this really clean e36 318is coupe in Boston Green which had done 87k (since last clocking probably) with all the MTech late e36 goodies. All for a lovely 800 of my finest British pounds. I was really happy with it. It needed a new battery, tyre, radio, and the electric windows were dodgy. But as a driving machine the things is top class. I thought i was lowered but turns out the the rear struts are well passed it. I have owned the car for nearly a year now and it has gone from souless to james brown to bette davies. (A notorious pain in the #####!) but i do love it. Granted it needs more power but hey, the thing handles like a humming bird. In the past year i have taken it to Rome on a budget car rally through the french Alps witj my Girlfriend (i refer you to my current profile picture) the car was a dream in the bends, keeping up with 3.0ltrs and a very tail happy XJS V12. It got us the no problem, (only drama was the electric windows) What modification i have done and will do very soon is i have removed those gastly alloy wheels that look like a starfish with schizophrenia and replaced them with some wide BBS 16" wheels which i absolutely adore apart from now the beemoh rubs it belly on every bloomin speedbump. I have also put in an aftermarket steering wheel and because i am an idiot i forgot to place the horn thing on the back of the boss (and the boss is not coming off for love nor money) so i have a button on the dash for the horn which to be honest i quite like. The ABS light has come on too (before i put on the Aftermarket steering wheel before i hear you scream that is what it is). After a little research i beleive it to be the passenger seatbelt, perhaps some WD40 on the connectors may help, but ill do that before the MOT (and wait about 45 after disconecting the battery) Now onto the bain of my life. The drivers side window. The thing hates me. I have tried to replace it but the guy on eBay sent me the O/S regulator. So i just swapped the motor as it was just the teeth that have gone. Which did cure it for a while but now has decided that it hates me again. So i have completly bought driver side motor and regulator (i did check this time) and will soon go in as for now it is fully down and will not go up at all. Im currently using a block of wood. I have new coilovers in a bag on front room floor dying to go in. As i do have a track day next sunday and really want them in. But other things sadly take priority. Yano...life... Tut. My plan is to pretty much leave it at that. Keep the thing for anothet year until i but a 2.8 coupe and swap my bits over. I love e36 and e30s. And i really do look forward to swapping stories, getting tips and going to meets. Well thats my story and im sticking to it. Much love Bladdersville!
  4. Hello everyone. I feel kind of guilty. I dont have a bmw. But worry not as i am a bmw lover and head over heels for a manual E36 coupe (over 318). This is to enhance my search to find one i like. I will get one! But it has to be £500 and under because i do something called "rust2rome" and its a budget car rally. I did it in a fiat panda this year and i will do it in an e36 next year! Any help on finding on closeish to manchester? Thanks again!
