Bmw Scanner - Ebay Copies.
You can actually buy the cable along with the inpa software from the same site. That allows you to change various modules and options as well as diagnose faults and read live data. All that for not much more than £20. You will need a laptop running Windows though

E91 320D Mpg Why So Poor
Have you tried a hard reset of the electrics? Disconnect the battery touch the two battery cables together for a couple of seconds, this resets all the computers on the vehicle except the security system. It could be some electrical glitch that will right itself after this.

E91 320D Mpg Why So Poor
The hedgehog only controls the fan speed, when it fails the fan continues to run even with the ignition off. You'll know when it fails because you will constantly get a flat battery. Try a few bottles of injector cleaner to clear some of the crud, also a good hard blast down some fast roads will also help clear some of the soot especially if it's only been driven around town most of it's life. As for the heating do you have the digital control or dial control?

Wheel Refurb Worth The Cost?
It is cheaper if you just have the outside face done. Mine were acid dipped then powder coated completely like they are done at the factory.

Wheel Refurb Worth The Cost?
The high cost is because they were strip any damage rectified then powder coated all over including the inside and the rear, not just the face.

Wheel Refurb Worth The Cost?
I think so, I had these done by a local wheel and tyre specialist in Reading at £85 each. They also have loan wheels so you are not left without transport which is included in the above price. Some before and after shots. http://s1170.photobu...rary/BMW/wheels

Parrot Installation
I have just installed a Parrot MKi9200 into my E46. The biggest problem I had was with the isot lead, because the wiring is quite short and the connector very large it would not feed down towards the glove box area. I ended up having to take the centre air vent plus the air con control panel and the radio cage out. Then I pushed the radio into the cage then whilst pushing the cage back in worked the connector block up and to the left to allow the whole thing to slide in. Took a lot longer than I was expecting but it is now installed and working.

New Owner
Local dealer doesn't seem worried about it. Parts and service still available from them plus they have access to all the dealer network history which they will provide FOC on production of V5.
