  1. Hi guys I have a 2003 BMW 330ci... Which I bought in February. About a month after buying the engine oil was low, so filled it up and thought nothing of it. However, about 4 months later the warning light came in again, so in that time the engine must have drank about 4 litres of oil... So once again had to fill it up. More worryingly, I had an oil service done just over a month ago, where about 7l of oil was out in, and as I turned the engine off tonight, the yellow oil lamp stayed on on the dash... So it must be low again! I can't see any oil leaks - so it must be going through the engine! Does anyone know what could be causing this / what it'd cost to fix? Thanks
  2. Hi guys I've got a 2003 330Ci - and am looking to buy a replacement Front aggregate protective plate - as i managed to destroy mine when driving quite fast over a very well hidden speed bump! I've looked all over the place for a replacement - but can't find it for sale anywhere... does anyone know where I can pick one of these up? Cheers Paul
  3. Awesome thanks - will have to order them! With your E46, did you lower it yourself? I bought the car with Sports Springs and it technically won't pass its MOT as there is too ittle a gap between the wheels and the body - so if anyone sits in the back seats the wheels rub against the wheel arches. I'm just also wondering what the difference is between standard springs and sports springs - so i can raise the rear up just enough to make it MOT - passable, but also keep it lowered?
  4. Cheers Gav :) Do you have any ideas no part / model numbers or where to buy the parts? I'm not bad with a spanner... but I'd probably need to take it to a garage to get done as I don't have a ramp
  5. Hi guys I have a 2003 BMW 330Ci convertible, and on its last MOT prior to me buying it, it was advised that the front bushes will soon need replacing. I've just called my mechanic, and he's said that it could be more than a days work depending on if the bushes are replaceable or if they are built into the control arm. Does anyone know if the bushes are replaceable on a 2003 e46 BMW 330Ci? I'm hoping so as otherwise it'll probably cost me a fortune I'd imagine :-S Cheers Paul
  6. Hi guys I've recently bought a 2003 330Ci Sport - which I absolutely love! The previous owner lowered it and fitted BMW sport springs - and although it drives perfectly and looks great, I'd just like to raise it by an inch or so just to give it slightly better clearance. Does anyone know if there is a guide no how to do this, or know how simple it is to do? Cheers Paul
  7. Hi guys I've just bought my first BMW, and am looking to do an oil change on it as it hasn't been done for a while. I wondered if you had any recommendations on the best filters / brand filters to use? Cheers Paul
  8. Hi guys I'm thinking about buying a convertible 2003 330Ci Sport, but wondered if there were any common faults that I should be aware of before purchasing? The car has only done 59,000 miles, has an SMG gearbox, and a full BMW service history. Is it likely in your experience that anything is due to go wrong any time soon / any major work needing done? Cheers
