  1. Hello all, New ish to the site and currently looking for my next BMW. I have decided to get an E91 335i and have been offered one, but since there aren't many around I dont know what they are worth these days. So this is what I have been offered for £19,000. 2011 E91 335i M-Sport with 25k Options: Auto front parking xenon met black leather heated seats electric seats with memory professional nav enhanced bluetooth and some other smaller stuff. Key question, is this good value for 19k? There are loads of coupes and a few saloons but not Touring's. Thank you
  2. Evening all. I have managed to learn a lot about the E39 over the last few days but sure more is still to come. I have found 3 potential vehicles that at first look may fit the bill. I will add the links below for you and will be sending a list of questions to the sellers before driving there. Let me know what you think of them. First car is in my fav colour but can see that the radio screen is already a goner http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-530i-SPORT-AUTOMATIC-TIPTRONIC-SALOON-PETROL-2002-51-REG-/380500241502?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item589794ec5e Not too keen on black since they are a pain to keep clean. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201212114580550/sort/default/usedcars/price-from/2000/price-to/5000/body-type/saloon/transmission/automatic/fuel-type/petrol/model/5_series/make/bmw/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/radius/1501/postcode/rg183bs/keywords/sport/page/4?logcode=p I guess I can replace the wood trim? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201241488238467/sort/default/usedcars/price-from/2000/price-to/5000/body-type/saloon/transmission/automatic/fuel-type/petrol/model/5_series/make/bmw/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/radius/1501/postcode/rg183bs/keywords/sport/page/4?logcode=p
  3. Funny enough I did consider them!!! Very cheap but tooooo big for me and I bet it would kill me on running costs.
  4. Thanks for the good feedback. Once I find something decent enough I will add the link on here. Getting there with what I need to look for when looking around. Once you read in more detail certain things are not that scary. The pulleys and belts appear together with the water pump appear to be a key area to look much closer.
  5. Thank you guys. I have started making a list of what to look for when searching for a nice e39. There are some scary things that can go wrong but they are worst cases. I will start searching around my area before going nationwide. There isn't much out there at the moment. Thank you
  6. Hello all. I have finally decided to buy a BMW 5-Series E39 530i Auto. So before I jump and buy one I have decided to join the best group to gather all the relevant information before the big day. Once I get the car I will then be able to share feedback and return the favour which I hope you will be able to share assistance. I will be searching the forum for general "what to look for" when buying a E39. I know that people normally only write on forums when they have a problem. I understand that but would like to have an idea to assist my search, Thank you Pedro
