HI There, I insured mine with < Sureterm Direct > and have it on a classic car policy with limited milage of 3000 miles a year, as it is used as a third vehicle. cost me £310.fully comp. then again my age counts 50 -55 (classed as an old git !!) Hi, Glad to see a fellow 8 series owner, mine has been changed for an aftermarket unit ( BECKER) with built in sat nav & cd. so may be easier to buy a new unit. unless you are wanting to keep as original.

Hi There, Can anyone out there give me any information on re- mapping the M60 4ltr V8. Not sure if my car has an OSB port to plug into 1995 model,if not will it need a chip change !. Also i have read that the power figure will go from 286bhp upto 306bhp with torque upto 440 a gain of 40. Have any 8 series owners out that had this done and if so are the power gains noticeable. any info will be welcomed. Also any recomendations in the yorkshire area for re-mapping.

Hi There, Glad to see a fellow 840 owner. I have updated my factory unit with a BECKER TRAFFIC PRO. It has CD, sat nav and I pod connectivity. i have removed my factory changer as it was no longer needed. If you look on E BAY you should be able to locate one. Hope this helps. My 840 is also a 1995, have you had any issues with yours yet, to date mine has been fine and getting 17.2 mpg. although i bet our fuel prices are dearer over here. £1.40 ltr.!!
