  3. Or the mother in law saying "you'll wash the paint off keep cleaning it" I'd have enough for a one way ticket to space for her.
  4. If I had a quid for every time the neighbour says "you don't have much look with cars do you" I'd be able to buy the misses the X6 she wants

  17. I'll have t agree with you there. Going to start stripping the Meg on Monday, see what damage has bee done before buying new engine. I think I will enjoy braking it to bits But, not if, but when I get new engine in and it starts, The self satisfaction will be immense I think...as Im a complete novice! Then it can be sold and she is having a BMW next...dont care how much she kicks and screams.
  18. I've set my self a challenge now mate... I have not a tiny glimmer of knowledge about swapping engines.. But...I'm GAV THE MAN WHO CAN...and i'll do it or I shall die trying
  19. Google was my first point to call at.. Maybe no one bothers with changing engines because Renaults are crap lol
  20. This morning I asked for any info on a 1.4 Megane engine swap over on meganeownersclub.co.uk? Asked all the usual questions, asked if they could point me in the direction of how to's, guides and sourcing a replacement engine locally. Now they have over 30k members, not 1 answer yet! How long, on average do you have to wait for a question to be answered on this forum? And are the answers usually helpful?
