Yeah carb cleaner, no rough cloths either mate. If you can get it off, soak it in thinners

He is right about wheel cleaner...its very acidic don't use it on soft aluminium, it WILL tarnish. AutoSol is good also Brasso, you prob ruined it with an abrasive brillo pad now though mate.

If the french poo was running...could run that into it.. But thinking....its just a loadof French crap plastic. I HATE French cars lol

I'd say throttle sensor mate. I changed Mart77's throttle cable a while back, on a 2.5 straight 6 mind, weird as fook things on that BMW, could easily be sensor or be traveling back to far.

Im sure there is a clip behind then they push out...will need confirming though. F**K you e46fanatics

Are they separate coil packs per plug on your car?

French cars monthly MOT. German cars yearly...unless BMW can sort out suspension problems then change it to 2 years

Im not sure on the Pre facelift, but i do know if one sensor fails they all stop working.

Am I thinking right that you have pre-facelift model?

Did any bare wires from the house mains touch any metal on the engine? Reason im asking is because, at work, we always discconect batterys in van/trucks before welding. Forgeting to do so usually blows ecu's to bits. Could be an ecu problem?
